I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

I ran my car out the stock cat w/ no exhuast for a while, it was fine. Then i made a peice of shit exhuast w/ no muffler and it was ridiculously loud and sounded like crap so i put a junk muffler on it. I just ripped it off the other day and sold it for 20 bucks, lol . I dont know if its bad for your motor from straight open header

No, it's not bad for your motor, but it can be bad for performance on a street car. Thebottom line that you want to hear is "You're not damaging or jeopardizing your motor."
I'm not happy unless you're not happy.

Not true, due to the excessive amount of air in the system it is possible he an suck a valve, a rather unlikely occurence, but it is possible. Also you are most likely going to be running either excessively lean or excessively rich, excessively rich, if you keep running this way you will burn out your O2 sensor in no time. Not to mention all the turbulent exhaust flow that is coming out from that open header is severly robbing your low-mid range power.
