I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

"New" Suspension....

Post by JaySmith » December 22, 2005

Just recently picked these up off a friend.
Image They're slightly used, but after a good "Smithers" cleaning, they're in extremely good condition. (note: the one on the far left is still uncleaned) The only real issue with them however, is the helper springs. As you can see they're rusted for some odd reason. lol

So onto my question. Can I have these helper springs sand blasted, and powder coated? I know Tein powder coats them, but I'm wondering if I have them redone by someone, if they'll just end up cracking. :(

Nice pick up.

As far as powdercoating them...I don't know if spring manufacturers do anything different.

Thanks guys. Should be an enjoyable summer. :D I might even purchase Teins upgradable springs for them, so I can run 16k front, 12k rear. ;)
