It wasn't a spelling mistake; it was a grammatical error taken out of contextbenjamin wrote:Jezek wrote:his HEADER is off the car, that's why he said it's under major re-construction ]benjamin wrote:wait, where are your headers.
oh shit thanks for fixing my MAJOR SPELLING MISTAKE THAT NO ONE COULD LIVE THROUGH.
I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

I guess I'll be the Hater with brutal honesty:
As a rule, I hate Midori mixed with other colors (like the black moulindgs, mirros and carbon fiber bits).
The Falken stickers at the top of your wheel wells are the worst thing you could have done to your car. I say remove them and the Spoon stickrs while you're at it.
The headlights on your car make the front end stand out more than the second Midori hatch you have pictured, but I think you could stand to take a cue from him and go with less of a "checkerboard" pattern on your car. A cohesive color would make it look more thought out and complete and less like a bunch of "JDM necessities."

I'm not happy unless you're not happy.

but to every one else thanks for the comments.
While I respect your points and personally agree with the falken sticker observation I belive the rest of your points are lost to your own opinions rather than those which you would associate with a site called "the jdm" Most of the styling of his car is more or less an accurate protrayal of the US interperetation of japanese tuning.... If you find this car unattractive my advice would be to find another style... No offense, just as you probobly ment none to him. But your arguments hold little merit in a forum devoted to jdm style.phunhaus wrote:I guess I'll be the Hater with brutal honesty:

Your basically arguing for a sleeper style, which is somewhat similar to jdm but is not the style, purpous, or "forte" of this car and furthermore this forum.
So I hate to be the hater with brutal honesty too, but if you don't like this, you might as well get chrome rims and go vip style... cause that color scheme and those spoon stickers are really typical of jdm style.
Before you think that I'm coming out with my claws bared, I'm only referring to the mix of Midori with other colors (carbon fiber, black, red, blue, whatever). There's not a whole lot that compliments a color as . . . loud in an eye-catching ind of way (not loud like neon pink) perhaps a word closer to "strong" or "visually dominationg" would be a better fit. . . strong as Midori Green. Red, blue, black, white cars - sure. The rest of the Honda colors don't compete so much for your eye's attention as Midori does. I guess what I'm saying is that any additional colors detract from the overall effect and cleanliness.
My argument is not for a sleeper (all stock everything but a monster unser the hood) but it looks like this is a build without a clear vision. A car that is halfway through it's transformation and still has some parts that need to go to the paint booth. I have a close personal friend and business partner with a K20 Midori Hatch complete with JDM CTR conversion parts. Neither of us care for SiR bumpers on Midori hatches so his is a solid Midori outside and has become the barometer for all other Midori hatches in my eyes. His car is definetly not a sleeper as nothing on the outside is stock or misleading.
And while we're on a discussion about the subject (I hope I'm not whoring this thread away from the car) I think the words "JDM Style" are ludicrous. There is no "JDM Style" as all types of JDM tuners and JDM parts manufacturers have their own style. Top Fuel is more agressive than Mugen or Spoon and Veilside and Do-Luck are evn more aggressive than Top Fuel. They're all JDM but they don't hold your thoughts about a cohesive "style." Parts are either JDM or not. Manufacturers are either JDM or not. There is no one style, that's why this site is "thejdm" and not "thejdmstyle." If you're after "JDM Style" you should stick to where those words originated - eBay.
These are, of course, my own opinions. Before you make mention of the opinions of the site, you would do well to recall that I am a member of this site. As there is no one "JDM Style" there is no one "thejdm opinion." I thank you for respecting my opinion in the matter as I do respect yours and that of jorgie583. Moreover, I thank jorgie583 for reading, responding, and not causing a big deal abot my commens. He's right about different flavors - I'm sure he wouldn't like everything about my car either.
