You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. Well heres the bind...
Basically I am 80 20 against an mr, the mr is going to have a better suspension with the bilstene shocks, six speed transmission, blacked out tails, aluminum roof pannel, and a few other differences like wheels.
My attitude is like yeah its an mr instead of the gsr, but most of the differences, short of the transmission will be changed, I am getting evo 7 tails, first mod is going to be suspension, then I am going with gold advans if I get tarmac black which isnt even available on the mr, and ultimatly its like I am spending five grand for a transmission because all the other differences are gonna be replaced...
we will see what happens but I think I am going to get a gsr. Besides, I am gonna take off all the badges in the end.

Money not an issue, I'd go with the MR. Like you said, tranny and roof are significant differences. Everything that you are changing is different on the MR, making it easier for you to re-sell those parts, recouping some (granted little) of the premium over the GSR. Also, when it comes time to eventually sell the car, the MR will generally be preferred over a sea of used GSRs.
If you don't plan to sell your stock parts when swapping them out, ignore all this crap then I guess.

Its the transmission that I am stuck on...
edit: exit speed, I may participate in auto x but thats it, I dont plan on doing any engine work outside of intake header and exhaust, maybe a few other stuff but I plan on using this as a dialy driver and I dont want to compromise drivability and the longgevity of the engine.
