I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

I'll see what I can do, I was hoping to already find some midwestas here. In my area the word JDM still brings confusion and most of my friends that are into imports are into race built cars. They don't frequent JDM sites that often.

Don't think I told him about thejdm.com but I noticed one of my boys just joined. Check out what he's got so far. t57b18 is his sn. Being from a Blue Oval town, we've got some nice Import builds started.

Hmm, I think YOU'RE the one who is new to "the scene." Albert (Mugen76) has been a huge JDM influence and EK Squad member from the Midwest for as long as I care to remember. You might not recogize him, but you'd recognize his car from all the sickest photoshoots 5 years ago.
I'm not happy unless you're not happy.

I don't remember stating I wasn't new to the scene. I've been in it for damn near 5 yrs but just got into forums. My cars have always been clean and tidy with as much stock parts as I could use. EX: wheels, stereo, and interior so JDM almost came natural. I was just saying I'm from the cornfields where MUSCLE cars prevail and that it's rare to have a nice IMPORT. Thanks.

I like it that way. In the city I'm building my car ( a little North of Milwaukee) there's more monster-truck build-ups than Honda Civics.
