I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

Cant make up my mind

Post by hondalover » March 09, 2006

I know i know another help me make up my mind post, but here it goes sorry. I have a b16 wich i put for sale on here, and i was going to sell it to go for a k24 tsx motor in my ek, but if i dont sell the b16 i could fully build it from erl performance, and boost it to make insane horsepower. So i am asking i want a car i can daily drive with no problems to really worry about, so what would u guys do both will cost about the same to do, have erl fully build a motor for boost then boost it or put a k24 outta a tsx in the car, and leave it NA. Ive been having this debate run threw my head for the past few weeks.

The only thing im worried about with the boosted b is reliability, i have to drive this car every day till this fall when i will get a winter beater, I have to have the vehicle to get to work and back everyday.

I'd build the B.

Boost is too much fun.

take that b16 and put it aside and replace it with my b16b..so you in turn will 'have a b18 block witha b16 block code' and trick your opponents..hehehehh imagine having a 'b16b' but its really a 2.0 that would be pretty cool heheh

The K24 wouldnt be fun to me in a EK. Torque isnt as much fun on FWD's as RWD's. A built B16 spinnin' 8-10k with a t61, thats what Im talkin about. If you want a K series go with the 20.

so I say go with the B.

im keeping the b16 and am going to be sending it in the really near future to erl to get it built. Also munster, boob told me u had a ls final drive u were willing to trade for my b16 final drive? Do u still have this, and are still willing to swap, it will be a little while till i get my lsd.
