I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

What happens to a civic the gets the interior stripped? And what part of the interior gets stripped most of the time?

rear seats are about as heavy as my pinky finger...but every little bit helps

My car is stripped, and as soon as I get time I'm removing the sound deadening.

My point was that Back Yard Special did not make the spoiler to be different but I think it was to increase rear downforce in the case that a civic was stripped so that it would help its balance. Stripping the car removes weight which throws of the balance of the car and I think the spoiler would help in that situation.

I dont know, but thats what i think.

Well I dont know anything about aerodynamics, it was just a thought. I figured there has to be a purpose behind the spoiler.

Oh, and you are not dissapointing me telling me something I already know.

actually downforce in the rear of a fwd car is a good thing in some cases. mostly for handling to balance the weight from the front and the back of the car at high speeds.

USDM wing on top, JDM wing in middle, and then the J's wing
(the brake light is different thats why you have to have the stock JDM wing)
