I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain
Spoon rims..
Spoon rims..
So, I'm thinking of getting Spoon rims and I would like something cleared up that I haven't been able to figure it out. Do the rims have the name "Spoon" written on one of the spokes or is the name even on the rims at all? I ask this because I've seen two kinds, ones with and ones without their name on them. I've seen the ones without the name on the spoon website http://www.spoonsports.us/home.htm. And I saw another pair with the name on http://www.inlinefour.com/spoonsw388.html. Which is the true Spoon rims???
Pre-Funk! CHEYA!
old old old spoon wheels have spoon sports stickers on 1 of the spokes. other then that spoon wheels have desmond stickers on the inide,

in the little experience i've had with finding them, i've noticed they can be kinda tricky to get ahold of, especially when going for authentics. i only say this b/c a few weeks ago a customer came into the shop i work at looking for a set for his 97 type r. i had serious trouble finding them. it may have been that i just don't have the right distributers to get them, or that they in fact are really hard to find. i would like to think that its just my shitty distributers and not a nationwide availability issue, because those wheels are just badass. so from what i've seen, they're hard to get ahold of, but i'm sure there are a few places state-side selling the real deal.

Getting a used set is pretty easy, and actually getting a new set is pretty easy too. Theres so many distributors of spoon that have easy access to them.
Its not like another one of these uber-rare jdm wheels because they are still in production...most of the rare wheels you see have stopped being made
