haha yeah, I have to be careful on a daily basis now, can't loose track of the road

I decided to fix my DVD drive (it wasn't being detected), run 12v and 5v power to the LCD and usb hub from the carPC power supply (protects the LCD and usb hub) and setup my usb hub. kudos to honda for making interiors that come apart and don't break when you yank on shit (fu GM). Anyhow, heres some updated pictures for those curious with the setup.

here is a picture of the back of the LCD and how I have it attached to the bezel.

EDIT: also, is there a way to run the climate controls from the computer also?

yeah I finished this shit up at 330 am, so I wasn't really worried about taking a bunch of pictures. I put the cover back on it beforeI finished up though.

how bout the climate controls? is there a program that you can install that will be able to run them?

maybe for the bmws and shit, but the rsxs are still manual climate control

wait wait wait......when you say manual do you mean that its got the knobs, or that there is a cable that runs off the back of the climate control?

well its probably electric, but you still have dials and shit. the bmw's have their own computer that does all the climate controls, from that idrive bullshit. someone has an interface between the idrive and PC now. so I'm sure theres probably a way to do it in the rsx, but honestly I don't think I'd ever explore it.
