I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

such bad luck....

i didn't make the post to point fingers ... just so everyone knows...

But seriously - the car is nothing but a bitch. It seems like everytime things are going right with it, something bad happens out of the blue.

The motor was a solid motor ... pulled correct vaccuum right off the back, started up IMMEDIATELY (seemed like before the key was even turned it was on), ran perfect ...

The tune seemed great. Steady mid 11's across the RPM range clear to 9300 ... it ran fine anytime i got on it ... except this time ... and it was so sudden... it was just like a complete blowout... like i said ... fine, fine, fine .. smoke screen

Darren and I did a compression test earlier today
1 - 175-180
2- 180
3- 200
4- ZERO

didn't bother doing a leakdown ... and I started tearing it apart. He had to leave to go fishing, and he was my ride so I'm just waiting for him to get back and we'll pull it out and apart tonight...

I'll keep you guys posted .... one of these days i'll be able to drive it for a long time! haha i promise!

I just don't understand how something that seems so solid can crap out so quickly when everything was left untouched ....

fuck this car ... i won't sell it ... but fuck it.

as far as plans ... its just fix this one and get it running again ... i don't have money to buy another motor ... don't have money to do a kswap ... can't justify selling the car ...

so - this one wil lget fixed ... this one will get tuned... and i'll just pray that it'll run for a long while...

PS - duanne ... it's metricmotorsport.com .... not sports ... and it's hybrid, not hybird ;) No one will get anywhere if they link off you mang

Just keep on it, man. That car is too badass to just ditch it.

Good luck on the next one.

just with the compression how it is, not even looking at #4 i don't like it. just looks like you blew your piston ring in 4 but the higher compression in #3 isn't looking too good
