Right, I agree with you there. It's just my intention to advise people who don't intend to repaint, thus needing different planning for a different result.

I don't want to pretend like I know better, it's just that we're able to share ideas and techniques that could have cleaner results requiring less work after the tar is removed.

took my back seat out and trunk carpeting to clean it up a bit....thinking of doing this more and more now...before i put everything back in.

i kinda liked driving around without a back seat..

some stuff on the way there

My ER band because I was sick that whole week, and my sinuses started bleeding and I was coughing up blood clots and throwing up blood all day

and another finished shot

I used rattle can car primer, and then sprayed a gloss black w/ a spray gun - its not the glossiest because the paint was mixed with a rust proofing also. And because it was our first time painting I dont think we thinned the paint enough. But oh well, it came out pretty good
