I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

AP1 - 00-03 have f20c = 8900rpm redline/9200rpm fuel cut
AP2 - 04-06 have f22c = 7800rpm redlnie/8100rpm fuel cut but 20 ft lbs more tq down low

the 06's now have VSA (vehicle stability assistance) which you can turn off, and also have drive-by-wire throttle.

Test an AP1 and an AP2 out and see which you like better. The AP1 is more of an animal than the AP2, but the AP2 is better behaved in traffic, etc.

m3 would be nice, but maintenance is a bitch. I've read horror stories about them, then at the same time, they're fine. When I was going to buy the RSX, I read horror stories about them and then how they are maintenance free. Your mileage will vary and depending on how the car was driven and maintained will determine how much time in the shop it spends. But you surely already know that by now. I'd say drive them all back to back in the same day if you can. And go from there. Good luck and let us know what you decide!

s2k ftw :D

Well i am still undecided i got several things going on in my life right now and one decision will affect the other one so i need to make sure if i go with something as expenesive as an M3 its what i really want, anyway im going sat. to drive them both maybe a WRX also and see what i think

ANyone think the M3 will be unreliable after like 80k miles? one of my friends says stay away from the M3 or trade it by or before 80k milles that they fall apart around then

Well i test drove them all and am still undecided, and its not as much which car i like the best, its which car i like the best for the money, b/c this choice affects other choices, i really liked the M3 but i think if you waited a few months until the new body styled 07 came out you would save about 5 or 6 g's on certain models or save 2-3 and get one with alot less miles, i like the S2k but i feel somewhat cramped in it not bad but some, so i got a friend who owns a car lot who wants to sell my rubicon on the lot for me so i might drive the civic for a month or 2 and see how things go. I am up for a promotion in about 2 months so I might decide to see how that goes if it goes right i might get a new M3. I would like to stay honda though i have even thought about looking for a ultra clean integra type R, doing the JDM front end etc and getting one of those. I mean I dont really need a luxury car I just want something more sporty but i also think after i get my swap in my civic it will be alot more sporty.

One of the things affecting my decision is me and 2 of my clients are working on buying some land to develop and i got some money set back for that and we finally found some plots and i am looking at them this Sat. If this goes thru i will not be buying any cars for a little while anyways, Its better for your money to work for you instead of the other way around u know, thanks for the support and help guys im kinda suprised on the voting in one way and in another im not so thanks alot and i will keep u posted
