I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

I'm checking that they don't have cracks and that they're connected. Are they all routed properly? Who the hell knows :> I'm just making sure the ones i find seem to be ok.Nikku wrote:what are you using to check the vacuum lines? are all the vacuum lines routed properly?sfc wrote:Timing hasn't been changed at all, and I'm still checking vacuum lines. I'm hoping between that, the PCV, and the o2 the problem will be solved.
hmm thats not the best way to test the vacuum lines, you should get a vacuum gauge, its this little hand pump thing and it will see if the hose holds pressure. as for the routing, look at the FSM here.....well fuck, now i cant find the site that had all the FSM's on it. lolsfc wrote:I'm checking that they don't have cracks and that they're connected. It's an Si, but this motor wasn't turbo'd, was blown up from what I was told. This was out of another stock Si with less miles (again, supposedly). Given the compression and such I believe it's probably true.
Regardless, stock motor, only "change" is that there's cam gears. Thing was fine for over a year, I believe "when it all went wrong" was when I wired up an A/F gauge. That's why I'm still thinking that it might have just fried the ECU somehow, but I can't get a spare one to test that theory.
