I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

Help some local thejdmer's out please

Post by miyagi » June 30, 2006

Hey guys ... so after a whole lot of though ... Darren (hercules) and myself are going to attempt to open an online parts store/distributor with the hopes of later getting a facility.

at first - the sales will consist of wheels, suspension, brakes, and things of the sort with the possibility of some jdm parts ... depending on who we can get accounts with and eventually moving up to some high ticket items like turbo kits, etc if all goes well. Shirts, stickers, and other merchandise will also be sold

here's the thing ... we are COMPLETELY stumped on a name. And we can't even start until we come up with one, because you can't get a tax id and business liscense without having a name.

So this is where you come in. Help us think of a name. If we choose a name that you have given, we'll paypal you 20 bucks.

Help us get rolling, and we'll be sure to hook you guys up with deals.

the only guideline is that we'd like it to not be honda specific. Also, a name that can be used without the words 'performance, motorsport(s), etc' would be cool too. Think Lo Cash, Jerry Built, Full Race, etc

It's more of a company coming from the every day enthusiast .... street cars, driven daily ... taken to the track in street trim and pulling good times.

Let's hear some ideas guys!

and please ... let's try to keep it serious haha ... i know 'Emo Boy Performance' fits the bill ... but c'mon haha.

Thanks in advance,
matt and darren

So simple it's perfect. The fact that you said it as a guideline, yet it can be said with multiple meanings, all pointing to the same basic idea you want your company to portray....

I'm agreeing with D^2. or Street Light Motorsports. If I can think of anything else I'll let you know.
