I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

Heres some pics of the pistons they came in today!!

whats the benefit on a 89 crank over any other year? I am currently starting a build up on my gsr in my integra and doing an LS crank with stock sized pistons still need to find which ones to go with but rs machine is looking good price wise going to check them out. good luck with the build that will rip in a crx.

89 was not ment be a year
All 90-01 LS/B20 cranks are 89mm Stroke where the 94-01 GSR cranks are only 87.2mm

Adds a small amount of displacemnt to the GSR but unless you use aftermarket rods you end up with weaker rods.

alright i didnt think there was anything special about 89 as for the rods i got arp hardware for them and i feel that for what im doing the rods strength wont be that big of an issue there are many cars we have done down hybrid with boost making twice as much power on stock rods with stock rod bolts to boot. Where did you get your RS machine pistons?

Acually the year 89 teg would have the d16a1 haha.
Yeah for a lite build they should be fine especially with the arp bolts. Just not as strong as the gsr's or course

RS machines - I just called the number in the sig and ordered over the phone.

First piston with the arp ring compressor (badass tool) Image All pistons in.. pic of the bottom caps Image All Motor BLING! Image Image Image My favorite pic Image Next up..Picking up either my old dc2 integra..or an Ek hatch if i can find one.
Either one is gonna get some extreme weight reduction.
Then for the head and valvetrain, Stay tuned on my quest for 200 whp...
