I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

evap core in a new hyundai tucson...pays 2.2 hours to pull the dash and heater box and evac recharge a/c bleed coolant. ..fuck you hyundai warranty.
Re: POST WHORES UNITE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Seems 90% of Hyundai times are BS. I've done a hand full of Santa Fe's, every single one needing LCAs, and every single one broke the welded nut off in one of the locations on the subframe. Pays 1.5hrs for both sides (iirc) and cutting into the subframe to remove the broken welded nut replacing, and re-welding the subframe definitely doesn't = 1.5hrs haha.Secret Squirrel wrote:evap core in a new hyundai tucson...pays 2.2 hours to pull the dash and heater box and evac recharge a/c bleed coolant. ..fuck you hyundai warranty.

ha yea there is a campaign for that...try doing the rear trailing arms on the santa fe 4wd. pays 1.5hrs and we have had guys fight those for half a day. same with the subframe. they pay us 2.7hrs to swap those out with allignment.

Haha, after realizing that, at least it seems, EVERY Santa Fe needs front LCAs, and EVERY one breaks in the subframe, resulting in me getting fucked EVERY time, I try to stay away from them now. I take it you work FOR Hyundai? I work for Nissan so the only time I get a Hyundai is from the used car lot (trade in/auction car) so we wouldn't do/know about a recall/campaign. Then again, I don't think I would want to. Recall/warranty work always sucks on hours.Secret Squirrel wrote:tenchu wrote:Seems 90% of Hyundai times are BS.
