I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

Let the debate begin

What do you guys think I should put into my chassis once its finished at the shop?

1) A built LSVTEC with boost

2)A K20 with TODA internals N/A

Both will be near the same price doing the preliminary math. So lets hear everyones opinions.

a built ls/vtec with boost will be no where near as expensive as a k20...and you would go with the boosted b series if your smart. :)

Depends what your going to use it for. Boosted B on a road track = teh sucks. But on the strip, teh win!

boosted b on the track wouldnt be the suck...depends on what turbo actually.

My setup would be damn good for road racing, because it spool rather quickly, and I would be staying in the 4-5grand range anyway so I would always be ready to boost...

Both setups would run strong. I would just go turbo because you'll be able to set higher goals safely. Are you planning on bore and sleeve too?

yes, FULLY built. The costs would be VERY close for all I would want to put into the B block. vs. the cost of a nearly stock K engine with the head upgrade and ECU.
